Field trips are interesting – always fun and informative to see the adventure unfold.
I enjoy gear reviews, but tabletop reviews never show gear perform as intended, and most on the web (all, not yours in particular) are optimistically positive and not critical enough to serve as a gauge if something is worth the money or not… they usually smack of endorsement.

great points about the gear reviews man. I myself have a hard time being brutally honest about something if they sent it to me for free…something I’ve actually been thinking about recently. I like the field trips/challenges a lot too because it pushes me to actually DO stuff instead of just talking about it. And I like showing what stuff really looks like. Thanks for the feedback bro…

Field trips are great. Describing the event, what went well and what was challenging will give a people insight.

thanks Ron-I agree. I usually don’t have much of a plan or angle in mind when I head out. Just take the little flip cam and try to catch the moments as they unfold…appreciate it.
